We are pleased to announce the Call for Abstracts for the 2026
International Society for Zinc Biology (ISZB) Conference Abstract submissions
are now open for oral and poster presentations. We welcome contributions from
all career stages and disciplines, for oral and poster presentations on all
aspects of zinc biology, including (but not limited to):
- Zinc
signaling and homeostasis
- Zinc
transporters, metallothioneins, or sensors
- Zinc in
immunology, inflammation, and infection
- Zinc in
human health, disease, and nutrition
- Zinc
neurobiology or cardiovascular biology
- Structural,
functional and computational studies of zinc proteins
- Zinc
imaging, biosensors, and omics technologies
- Zinc in
development, aging, and reproduction
- Zinc in
agriculture, food systems, and One Health perspectives
- Zinc in
genetics and epigenetics
- Zinc in
host/pathogen dynamics
- Translational/clinical
research

Presenters must have 2026 ISZB membership dues paid prior to
abstract acceptance:

The Scientific Committee will review abstracts, and notices of
acceptance into an Oral Symposium or Poster Session will be sent by January 15,
2026.

MEETING
REGISTRATION:
Payment of the ISZB-specific registration fee via the meeting
website https://cbtox.com.br is required
before abstracts are published.
The early-bird registration fee is $275 USD (trainees) and $550 USD
(everyone else), and will increase to $325 USD and $650 USD, respectively,
after January 31, 2026.

There are several hotels within walking distance of the
conference site.
A block of 60 rooms has been reserved at the Wyndham
Hotel in São Paulo, with a guaranteed negotiated price. These are likely to
